The reconstruction of Socorro High School was a significant effort to expand the legacy of the Socorro community. The school accommodates a diverse student body of 2,500 individuals, consisting of 1,050 core students, 500 Health Profession Academy students, 500 Socorro Early College students, and 500 Career and Technology students. The school is housed in a facility that was originally constructed in the 1960s as a standard 2,500-student high school.

This reconstruction project involves a significant campus overhaul to provide 310,000 square feet of new academic, health profession, Early College, and Career and Technology classrooms, laboratories, and workshops. Additionally, 170,000 square feet of the existing fine arts and athletics areas are being meticulously renovated. As a design consultant, NINE DEGREES Architecture + Design, Inc. leads the design and coordination of site elements while meticulously documenting and coordinating site conditions. Moreover, NINE DEGREES is also responsible for the construction administration, ensuring the seamless implementation of this new school.
