NINE DEGREES Architecture + Design, Inc designed a brand new 4,000 SF facility within an existing Medical Complex in Sunland Park, NM. This facility offers general medical services to underprivileged residents while also providing Behavioral Health services to expand the range of services offered at the location.

The design goal was to create a new building that matched the appearance of the existing building while utilizing cost-effective elements. This architectural approach was cleverly executed to ensure that the new facility was easily identifiable among other buildings operated by the same organization.

The new facility is equipped with offices, counseling rooms, conference rooms, a break room, and ADA-compliant restrooms, all accessible through a main circulation corridor that ensures acoustic privacy. The layout has been thoughtfully designed to ensure that all patients feel comfortable and safe while receiving the care they need.
