Nine Degrees Architecture + Design, Inc designed a 10,000-square-foot Behavioral Health Counseling Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Our team integrated the behavioral center with associated site work to serve as both a hub for behavioral health services and a fully functional office building, relocating their Behavioral Health Operations from multiple buildings throughout downtown into one dedicated Behavioral Health Complex. This project was driven by a commitment to address the community's pressing needs, particularly in behavioral health.

The center was built on a residential street, and it was designed to blend with the surrounding area by following specific guidelines. In the development of the facade, the use of scale and proportion was crucial. This architectural approach ensured the facade blended with the smaller residential buildings across the street. We utilized our expertise and creativity to design a counseling center that provides a safe and welcoming environment for individuals seeking assistance and support. The center stands as a symbol of optimism and support for the community.‍
